With the closing of another school year comes many goodbyes and many good lucks, but with the end of one thing comes the start of a new frontier. It's hard to believe that almost a week ago, we closed the book on Black Tie Dinner XIX. For many, this was their final curtain call for this magnificent event, but for others it symbolized the very beginning of their journey with BTD. We turned the tables on this years dinner, thought outside the box and pushed ourselves to be better than we were before. Back in August when this board of 17 got together for the first time, we didn't know what success we would have, we just had goals and ideas pouring out of our heads, with the ambition to amaze our guests in the best way possible and we're happy to say, we think we did just that. Not only did we give you a show, but we entered a new era of giving. With mobile bidding, our Silent Auction allowed us to raise $12,000 for The Backpack Program and our Endowment funds. This great success could not have been achieved without the many hands which impacted this dinner, from the donors, to the guests and most importantly the student volunteers, who we swear moved mountains, we thank you. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to making this dinner spectacular in every way; we truly couldn't have done this without all of you. As some move on and others move up, we are excited to turn the page to see what's in store for the twentieth anniversary of Black Tie Dinner on March 24th, 2018. Until next year, when we'll have the distinguished honor to serve you all again, we wish you and yours all the best.
